I had never seen this fabulous stone used in Juliana (D&E) jewelry until I received this parure from Mr DeLizza's collection. This stone is just outstanding. The red parts of it just glow. It is scooped out in several dimensions and accented with the raised rose and colored with the gold accents. Just totally outstanding.
I am really hoping this is a design that was actually put into production so that more of them will be found. It is possible that they were never made due to production costs of this fabulous stone.
If anyone manages to find any D&E designs using this stone I would love to see them. It is probably the most fabulous stone I have ever found in D&E Jewelry.
